Quotation Specialist
tThe Quotation Specialist prepares accurate, technically sound cost estimates for custom furniture and interior projects. You will bridge the gap between design and production, ensuring all quotes reflect realistic costs and workshop capabilities while protecting company margins.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Estimation: Prepare itemized quotes by breaking down materials, hardware, labor, and transport based on architectural drawings.
Production Alignment: Interpret shop drawings to identify manufacturing risks and confirm feasibility with the Production Manager.
System Management: Maintain cost databases and track project revisions using Odoo and Monday.com.
Cross-Functional Liaison: Coordinate with Procurement for material pricing and the Design team for technical clarifications.
Variance Analysis: Compare quoted vs. actual production costs to improve future pricing accuracy.
Qualifications & Skills
The Essentials
Education: Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Interior Design, Architecture, or Construction Management.
Experience: 2–3 years in furniture manufacturing, construction, or a related production field.
Technical Proficiency: Advanced Excel skills and the ability to read complex architectural drawings.
Software: Experience with ERP/Project tools (Odoo/Monday.com) and familiarity with design software (ArchiCAD/SketchUp).
