Interior Design Intern
The Interior Design Intern supports the design team through all stages of the process, from concept development to project execution. Based in Arusha, this 3–6 month role offers hands-on experience in a luxury design studio, helping you build a professional portfolio while learning real-world workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Support: Assist in preparing mood boards, material boards, and client presentation documents.
Sourcing & Research: Conduct research for furniture, fabrics, finishes, and accessories.
Technical Drafting: Support the team with 3D modeling, drafting, and technical drawings.
Field Experience: Participate in site visits, installations, and supplier meetings.
Studio Maintenance: Help maintain the design library and organize project documentation.
Qualifications & Skills
Education: Current student or recent graduate in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Software: Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Design Sense: A strong aesthetic eye and high attention to detail.
Attributes: Highly organized, proactive, and able to meet deadlines.
